Sand tree planting campaign begins in Parwan province

The spring planting campaign under the slogan "Today's Seedlings, Future Welfare" was launched in Parwan province by the Department of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock.
The event, which was held at Gulghandi Hill, was attended by Mufti Mohammad Idris Anwari, Governor of Parwan, heads of emirate departments, representatives of farmers, agricultural associations, growers and employees of the Department of Agriculture.
At the beginning of the program, Qari Raz Mohammad Yasir, Mayor of Parwan, while welcoming the guests, spoke about the importance of greenery and the municipality's programs in this regard. The governor of Parwan then explained the role of planting seedlings in his speech from the point of view of Islam and emphasized on paying attention to the greenery of the province.
Qari Mohammad Sediq Mokhles, head of provincial intelligence, Maulvi Mujeebur Rahman Rahimi, head of economy and Maulvi Rohullah Rohani, head of agriculture, irrigation and livestock, presented information on the economic importance of seedling planting, agricultural programs and distribution of seedlings in the spring of 1404.
The Department of Agriculture announced that more than one million seedlings will be distributed this season, of which 60,000 will be provided by the department and partner institutions and the rest will be provided by growers' unions and individuals. These seedlings will be distributed free of charge to schools, mosques, Darul Hafaz, Darul Ulooms and other public places according to the procedure.
At the end of the program, several Naju seedlings were planted by the Governor of Parwan and other emirate officials and the ceremony ended with a good prayer.
